For DuVall
This post is for my long time friend who was giving me a hard time for "blogging quarterly". I knew that this post would make him happy....here you go.
On our 8th anniversary we were sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. It was the most amazing experience I have had up to this point in my life. Our children looked like little angels, especially Boston. Bricia and Beckett are good almost all of the time, but Boston is full of curiosity and energy. I was so worried, but he was so awesome. The other two were amazing as usual. Beckett cried for just a second. Bricia was the gorgeous little princess that she usually is. I saw a little glimpse of heaven in that room that day. So Duvy, I knew that you would be happy about this. Thanks for being such a good friend and example all these years.

NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS

Not much is happening here. School started for Bricia and Boston. Beckett was blessed. He couldn't be cuter. He has discovered his voice and doesn't stop jabbering. Boston turned 4. Boston started Taekwondo (apparently it teaches listening, discipline, and concentration. Let's hope!!) Boston is a good boy with a lot of energy that keeps his momma very busy. Bricia's dance started up again. We have been keeping busy with life. I am back to work. I am so thankful for a good job that allows me to be a mom too. October baseball is upon us and the Jazz first preseason game is this week. My life is good!! Here are some pictures of the fam.

I SUCK AT BLOGGING/DILEMA

I SUCK AT BLOGGING. WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT YOUR MIND SEEMS TO BE ON ONE EVENT. SO THIS BRINGS US TO THE DILEMA. WE CANNOT AGREE ON ANY LITTLE BOY NAMES THAT BEGIN WITH THE LETTER B. SO 1ST I NEED OPINIONS AS TO WHETHER OR NOT IT'S WEIRD TO HAVE EVERY MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY WHOSE NAMES START WITH THE LETTER B AND THEN TO HAVE ONE CHILD WHOSE NAME THAT DOESN'T? KEEP IN MIND MOM AND DAD HAVE B NAMES AS WELL. 2ND WE COULD USE SOME SUGGESTIONS ON "B" NAMES THAT WE COULD POSSIBLY AGREE ON. NAMES THAT ARE OUT OF QUESTION: BRIDGER, BRADY, BRAD, BLAINE, BRODY, BO, BRENT, BRYANT, BRETT, BOWEN, BENJAMIN, BROCK, BRYTON AND BRADEN. HELP!!

LHM

I have been feeling really sad this week since I heard of the passing of Larry H. Miller. I just wanted to express my gratitude for him and what he did for the residents of Utah. I keep thinking how my life would have been changed if he hadn't taken the risk he did. My youth would have been totally different. I would babysit, mow lawns and clean houses all summer long so I could save enough money to buy my Jazz tickets. My parents would always buy one ticket and I would have to earn the other ticket. Some of the best times of my youth were going to Jazz games, welcoming the Jazz home at the airport or watching them on TV. He bought KJZZ so he could televise as many games as he could for the fans. I put all of my energy into the Jazz and I lived and died with them every year (Darn you Mr. Jordan). I can't imagine what life would have been like without Stockton to Malone. In some small way I think it helped me stay a pretty good kid because I wanted so badly to go to the games at the Delta Center (Sorry I am still not used to the ESA a.k.a The Dump). I still follow the Jazz very closely and get to go to a few games a year. I have enjoyed lots of fun concerts, Disney on Ice, the circus, and the playoffs. I am so grateful for Larry H. Miller for building that awesome building. Even when you are on the last row of the Delta center it's still a great place to watch a game. I also love Larry's work ethic, loyalty, honesty, and devotion to his community. I love how he always stood up for what he believed in, right or wrong. He lived a very public life. All of his mistakes were broadcast for everyone to see. I respect him for always making his wrongs, right. He didn't have to do what he did, but I am so glad that he was able to keep the Jazz in Utah and for all of the many other wonderful things he has done. His memory will live on strong in my heart. I know his family will keep his legacy alive and we will be able to enjoy many things because of this man. GO JAZZ!! Win it all for Larry!!

QUOTE OF THE DAY!

*****WARNING SOME LANGUAGE MAY BE OFFENSIVE IF YOU ARE A PRUDE*******
I was going to tuck Boston into bed last night and this was our exchange:
Boston: "Mom, what are those two circles on you chest?"
Me: "Well buddy, they are called boobs".
Boston: "I don't have boobs. I have nickels".
Me: "You do?"
Boston: "Yeah, I would rather have nickels than boobs like you".
Me: "I am glad you have nickels too".
I can't imagine what these 5 month pregnant circle things must look like to a 3 year old. But for now I am glad that he is happy with his Nickels!!!
